Purpose:

Ebony Emotions is dedicated to reducing the stigma surrounding bipolar disorder, raising awareness, and addressing the issue of misdiagnosis within Black and Brown communities.

Mission:

The mission of Ebony Emotions is to offer culturally sensitive digital resources, foster community support, and provide a judgment-free platform tailored to minority communities facing the unique challenges of bipolar disorder. By working to reduce stigma and shame, we aim to empower Black and Brown individuals to thrive in their personal lives, careers, and relationships.

Who We Serve

Ebony Emotions is designed for BIPOC individuals navigating the mental health challenges associated with Bipolar Disorder I and Bipolar Disorder II. Our mission lies at the intersection of race, culture, and addressing the complex, nonlinear experiences of living with bipolar disorder. We also welcome those who do not live with the disorder to gain insight and understanding from the perspectives of those who do.
